Remember, when you play at Cohutta Cove Mini Golf, we give you 3 opportunities to win one free game on your next visit: a hole-in-one on #9, a hole-in-one on #18 or Plinko golf ball return at the Caddy Shack. Here is a look at our brand new course. It is in great shape and very well maintained. Conveniently located just north of Ellijay, GA and just to the south of Blue Ridge, GA, we are right off of 515.
A great way to start your game and get a feel for the speed of the greens.
Welcome to Stone Henge. One of these may hold the key to a hole-in-one, if you bank it just right. The others, well, they may just put you back where you started.
Will you bank left or dare to jump the ravine?
Looks easy, right? Be sure to remind yourself of that as you watch your ball go on and off, on and off, on and OFF! of the raised plateau. This is every bit a true Par 3.
Watch your speed on this one. These ridges are sure to spell trouble.
Over the bridge or under. It's a touch choice. Neither is as easy as it seems.
Another choice, hit a finesse shot to the left or brave the gap and jump the river. But before you do, you might want to look around for the fish net. This river loves to collect golf balls!
On #8, you can play it safe or you can play the river. Hit is just right and the river carry's your ball down stream and back onto the green!
The 9th hole is your first chance during your round to win one free game. Just make a hole-in-one and you WIN! Be careful, it's a lot trickier than it looks.
Look closely at the picture. The mound around the hole is not much bigger than an ant hill, but based on the challenge of getting the ball in without going out the other side, Mt. Vesuvius would be a better description!
Before you play this hole, you should decide...if the ball goes in the hazard, do you add a stroke when you reach in to remove it?
Do you shoot the gap. Attack it with enough speed to make it to the hole and you are either in great shape or you are bouncing off the rocks and watching your ball come right back to you.
Pick a path between the rocks and hope for the best.
A straight shot with several drops before it gets to the hole. Break right, left, or both???
The sign should say "Looks like a Par 2 but plays like a Par 3."
Going left on this hole could be very rewarding, it could also leave you nestled up against a rock!
Looks like a nice straight shot? Trust us, that "par 3" marking is not a typo. But this is just a warm up for what lies ahead on #18.
Welcome to your second opportunity to win one FREE game (assuming of course you didn't already get a hole-in-one on #9). Will it play fast or slow, do you bank off the rock to the right, or how much does the slope come into play? Good luck!
